Trent Mitchell

Funeral service for Trent Mitchell will be at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, September 4, 2010 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 2903 Allen Ave, Gillette, WY. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service at the church with Bishop John Kertesz presiding . Trent Leland Mitchell age 32, returned to his Heavenly Fathers loving arms and care August 30, 2010. Trent was born February 19, 1978 to Marion Lon and JoAnne (Duncan) Mitchell in Roosevelt, Utah. He graduated from Evanston High School in Evanston, WY in 1996. Trent met his eternal companion, Melanie McFarland while attending school in Laramie, WY. Trent and Melanie were married in the Bountiful Utah Temple for all time and eternity, August 9, 2002. He was a member of FFA, an Elder in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and served a full time mission to the Brazilia, Brazil Mission. He loved the church and his heavenly father, and had a testimony that the gospel of Jesus Christ was true and wanted everyone that he knew to know that. Trent moved to Gillette, WY in 2000 and was employed by TIC, Boart Longyear, Magna, and was currently employed by Anadarko in Gillette, WY. Trent was 65 and enjoyed being tall. He loved cars, pickups, drilling, building, hard work, rodeos and music. Most of all he loved being a daddy and spending time with his most precious gift he received from his father in heaven, his four daughters, Tyleigh Winter, Miken Mckenna, Maryn Leigh and Tyme Joleigh and the rest of his family. Trent is survived by his wife Melanie of Gillette, WY; four daughters, Tyleigh, Mikyn, Maryn, Tyme Mitchell of Gillette, WY; parents, Lon & JoAnn Mitchell of Rozet, WY; brother, Brandon (Erin) Mitchell of Rozet, WY; sister, Dusti (Quinn) Martin of Moorcroft, WY; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his brother Duane and his grandparents. In lieu of flowers, a Trent Mitchell Memorial Fund has been established at the American National Bank, 800 East 7th Street, Gillette, WY 82716.
