Ralph Tracy age 72, passed away July 15, 2009 at his home in Gillette, Wyoming. Cremation has already taken place and the family is planning a private celebration of his life at a later date. Ralph was born in Hill City, South Dakota, August 21, 1936 to Wilson and Mable (Harvey) Tracy. He attended school in Hill City after which he enlisted in the United States Army and served three years in Carlsrud, Germany. Following his honorable discharge Ralph married Patricia Michaud in Custer SD on September 26, 1966. They resided in Keystone SD until moving to Gillette, WY in 1969 where Ralph started working in the oil field. He was employed by Philips Welding for the last 15 years. Ralph enjoyed spending time with his family especially the grandchildren. He also loved to fish whenever he got the chance. Ralph is survived by his wife, Patricia of Gillette, WY; two sons, Marc Tracy and Shane Tracy both of Gillette, WY; daughters, Linda (Jim) Cheeseman of Sioux Fall, SD; Natalie Tosh (Elton) Kinsvogel and Heather (Jay) Walker both of Gillette, WY; eight grandchildren and two and half great grandchildren; one sister Margaret Van Campen of Minnesota. He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers; William, Charlie, George and Ben Tracy; one sister Beth Mabel Williams.
