James Fullenwider

January 11, 1954 — April 5, 2009

A memorial and celebration of life for James Allen Fullenwider, 55, of Pine Haven, WY will be at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, April 20th at Family Life Church in Gillette, Wyoming with Pastor Gordon Harper officiating. Fellowship time with cookies and coffee will follow. He has been cremated. He died April 5, 2009, of a brain aneurysm in Phoenix, Arizona. He was born January 11, 1954 to Albert A. and Jonnie F. Fullenwider in Rangely, Colorado. He attended school in Rangely until moving to Gillette in 1969 with his family. He graduated from Campbell County High School in 1972. He was a State Champion Wrestler, and an avid football player. He attended Dickinson State College in Dickinson, North Dakota for one year. He worked in the oilfields of Wyoming, North Dakota, Utah, Colorado, and New Mexico. recently with Frear Consulting, as a Consultant. On September 12, 1991 he married Denise L. Robinson. Jim has two children from a previous marriage, Nikole 28, and Laci 22. Denise brought two children to the marriage Alicia 32, and Joe 29. Jim and Denise had been in Parker, Arizona for a two month winter holiday. Jim was having the time of his life. He danced, sang, and met many new friends. He had a tremendous sense of humor. Enjoyed reading, bowling, loved spending time on the lake in his boat relaxing. He loved his friends and family very much. Jim was always the Good Samaritan to anyone in need. He loved playing with his grandchildren. Mr. Fullenweider is survived by his wife Denise of Pine Haven, WY, daughters, Nikole of Gillette, WY; Laci of Ranchester, WY; Alicia of Gillette, WY; son, Joe of Gillette, WY; brothers, Stan Fullenwider of Vernal UT; Bob Fullenwider of Ojai, CA; sisters, Wanda Murphy of Wheatridge, CO; Barbara Gulley of Gillette, WY; Nancy Turner of Gillette, WY; and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Jims name to Campbell County Humane Society.
