Memorial service for Henry Sonny Yeadon Jr. will be at 2:00 pm Saturday, December 27, 2008 at the Family Life Church with Pastor Marty Crump officiating. Upon his wishes a private cremation service has taken place and a private family scattering will take place at a later date. Henry Everett Yeadon Jr., known to his family and friends as Sonny, age 53, passed away on December 23, 2008 at Campbell County Memorial Hospital of cancer. Henry Everett Yeadon Jr. was born on May 13, 1955 the son of Henry and Connie (Dawson) Yeadon at Wheatland, Wyoming. Sonny was raised and educated in the Wheatland area. At the age of nineteen he began his career working for Burlington Northern Railroad. For the past thirty four years he continued with the railroad holding the positions as track labor, numerous years as an engineer, train master and returning to the position of engineer. Sonny married Shelly Petersen on December 30, 2006 in their home in Gillette, Wyoming. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping with his family and friends. In his spare time he would restore vintage vehicles and woodworking. His greatest passion was riding his Harley Davidson Motorcycle. Sonny and Shelly were members of Abate and would participate in the clubs motorcycle activities. Sonnys favorite time was with his family and friends. Sonny enjoyed having family and friends over to his home for barbecue parties. He is survived by his wife, Shelly Yeadon of Gillette, Wyoming; parents, Henry Yeadon of Chug Water, Wyoming; Connie Stivenson of Wheatland, Wyoming; two sons, Grant Yeadon of Portland, Oregon; Ryan Yeadon of Gillette, Wyoming; one daughter, Linae Yeadon of Gillette, Wyoming; five step children, Krystal Hunt, Leslea Hunt, Kordell Hunt, Derek Hunt all of Gillette, Wyoming; Tyrell Hunt of Sheridan, Wyoming; two sisters, Toni Quillen of Cheyenne, Wyoming; Lisa Bartow of Wheatland, Wyoming; maternal grandmother, Leota of Wheatland, Wyoming, one grandson, Kyan A. Yeadon, his beloved puppies, Oakley and Willie and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Sonny was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandfathers and his paternal grandmother.
