Jeffery Sherman

A gathering in honor of Jeffery Allen Sherman will be held from 7-9 p.m. Sunday, November 2, 2008 at Walker Funeral Home, Gillette, Wyoming. A Memorial service will be held at a later date at Mt. Zion Church, Clarkston, Michigan. Jeffrey Allen Sherman, age 29, died Thursday, October 29, 2008 from injuries he sustained in an automobile accident near Gillette, Wyoming. Jeffrey was born June 23, 1979 the son of LeRoy and Erma Sherman in Cass City, Michigan. He graduated from Pontiac Central High School in 1998. He worked for Rider Logistics from 2000-2003, and then owned and operated Sherman Construction. He met Reashell July of 1999 and they married May 5, 2004 in Pontiac, Michigan. They moved to Gillette in 2006, where Jeffrey was employed by DRM Construction for two years, and was currently employed by Powder River Coal at the Cabello Mine. Jeffrey enjoyed hunting, practicing his skills in archery and firearms, riding dirt bikes, snowmobiling and loved being by the water and relaxing by the beach in the summer. He was teaching his son, Kain to ride dirt bikes. He was a very energetic person and made friends easily, getting along with anyone. He is survived by his wife; Reashell, son; Kain, daughter; Aryanna, of Gillette, Wyoming, Father; LeRoy and Stepmother Stella Sherman, Akron, Michigan, Mother; Erma and Stepfather Richard Henshaw of Pontiac, Michigan, brothers; Tim Sherman, Gillette, Wyoming, Steve (Kelly) Welstad, Fairgrove, Michigan, and one nephew. He was preceded in death by his grandparents. A memorial has been established in Jeffreys name and donations may be sent in his name in care of Walker Funeral Home, 410 Medical Arts Court, Gillette, and Wyoming 82716.
