Long time Gillette resident Christine M. (Terry) Roth passed away peacefully on April 9, 2008 having lost her battle with Cancer.She was born April 16, 1951 in Bremerton Washington, a gift of God to her parents John C. and Dorothy G. (Forsythe) Terry. Upon her father's discharge from the Navy the family relocated to Buffalo Wyoming where she attended school with her sister and later gave birth to her daughter in 1970. In 1972 she moved to Gillette where she raised her daughter and touched the lives of many with her wonderful sense of humor and compassion. On December 31st, 1987 she married her best friend and confidant Roger Roth and they continued building a wonderful life together. She was an incredibly strong person never letting her illness bring her down. She loved the great outdoors including their yard where she enjoyed working on her pond and in her flower gardens. She was a wonderful artist both on canvas and in her home. She loved her dogs passionately and often gave them the best seats in the house. She had a love for the Black Hills and wanted to attend her own wake there the weekend prior to her passing, which she was able to do with all who loved her by her side. Her greatest passions in life were her husband Roger, her daughter Kodi, and her grandchildren, Jeremy, Justin, and Maddisyn Christine. She was loved by all her knew her and will be greatly missed. She is survived by her mother, Dorothy G. (Forsythe) Terry, daughter Kodi (Bart) Majors and their three children, Jeremy, Justin and Maddisyn all of Gillette. Sister Cathy (Bill) Sherrard of Sundance, and nieces Keri (Glen) Cooper, Joni (Tim) Harrington, and great nephew Dominic Cooper all of Virginia. She was preceded in death by her father John C. Terry and maternal and paternal grandparents.A private celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date.A memorial fund has been established in her name to benefit her four legged friends at the Campbell County Humane Society.
