Virgil L. Duha, age 66, passed away at his home in Gillette, Wyoming on Friday, March 17, 2008 of a heart attack.Upon his request a private cremation service has taken place and no other service is planned at this time.Virgil Lee Duha was born on May 11, 1941 the son of George and Elizabeth (Heize) Duha in Seneca Township, Wisconsin. He was raised and educated in the Seneca area and graduated from Seneca High School in 1959. Virgil was inducted in to the U.S. army on December 11, 1963 and served his country for four years in Vietnam. He was honorably discharged on March 25, 1966. Returning to Wisconsin he met and married the love of his life, Karen Cisewski. They were married on July 9, 1966 in Boscobel, Wisconsin. Virgil and Karen have spent forty-two great years together. They had one daughter, Sandra. Virgil farmed in the Seneca and Madison, Wisconsin area for many years. In 1975 he moved his family to Gillette, Wyoming were he was employed in the construction industry for many years. Virgil and Karen moved back to Wisconsin for a few years before returning to Gillette to be close to their daughter and grandchildren, Brittaney and Shayne. For the past few years, Virgil was employed with Envirotank until the time of his death.He was a member of the V.F.W., American Legion, North American Hunter Club, North American Fishing Club, National Rifle Association and the 2 Cylinder John Deere Club.Virgil never lost his love of farming and was an avid collector of the John Deere memorabilia. He had a passion for hunting and fishing but his greatest joy was spending time with his wife, his daughter, Sandra and his two grandchildren, Brittaney and Shayne.Virgil is survived by his wife, Karen, his daughter Sandra Wood and his two Grandchildren, Brittaney and Shayne all of Gillette, Wyoming, and two brothers and three sisters.He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister and two brothers.
