Funeral services for Freda S Morrow, a longtime Campbell County resident will be at Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Home with Pastor Chuck Hanes of the Landmark Missionary Baptist Church in Belle Fourche, South Dakota officiating, on Tuesday, March 18, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Mt Pisgah Cemetery. Freda Morrow, age 85, passed away at Pioneer Manor on Saturday, March 15, 2008 of natural causes. Freda was born March 15, 1923 in Chambers, Nebraska the daughter of Ralph and Mary (Olson) Skidmore. She moved with her father, aunt and uncle (Eldred and Beth Skidmore) to the Rocky Point area in 1928. She received her education in northern Campbell County and graduated from Campbell County High School in 1941. She taught school in the Rocky Point rural schools for several years. Freda married George Morrow on September 12, 1946 in Miles City, Montana. They ranched in the Rocky Point area until retirement. Freda spent several years splitting time between Queen Valley, Arizona during the winter and the ranch in the summer. Freda was a member of the Happy Hour Extension Club. She liked to crochet, especially in recent years donating lap robes to BOCES. Freda is survived by daughters: Pam Gustafson and Sharan Paul both of Gillette, Wyoming, Mary Elder of Cheyenne, Wyoming, Betty Kuehn of Phoenix, Arizona and Trish Happs of Washougal, Washington; ten grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; one sister-in-law and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to benefit the Campbell County Memorial Hospital Hospice House.
