A Mass of Christian Burial for Ramona Pimentel-Cerda will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, January 11, 2008 at St. Matthew's Catholic Church with Father Philip Vaske officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 p.m., Thursday, January 10, 2008 at St. Matthew's Catholic Church, with a rosary and vigil at 7:00 p.m.Ramona Pimentel-Cerda, age 67, of Gillette, Wyoming died on Monday, January 7, 2008 at Campbell County Memorial Hospital of natural causes. Ramona Pimentel-Cerda was born on July 26, 1940 the daughter of Jose Pimentel and Esperanza Cerda in Purepero Michoacan, Mexico. She came to the United States in about 1968. In 1976 she moved her family to Gillette, Wyoming where she settled and worked at various jobs including the Black Gold Caf and the Huskies later known as the Flying J. On January 13, 1989 she opened Mona's Caf, where the Black Gold Caf used to be, and turned Mona's into a very successful restaurant. Mona will be missed by all who knew her. Ramona is survived by her partner in life of 18 years, Robert Gonzalez-Perez and her children: Sylvia (Edmundo) Cerda of Gillette, Wyoming, Rodolfo (Teresa) Cerda-Pimentel of Cuidad Juarez Chihuahua, Mexico, Irma (Randy) Sherbrook and Larry Sinning both of Gillette, Wyoming, Jesus Javier Vasquez Cuidad Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico, Patricia (Danny) Vasquez-Martinez of California, Jake (Beth) Johnson of Gillette, Wyoming, and Guadalupe (Hector) Lawson-Bustillos of Gillette, Wyoming; grandchildren: Jose, Carlos, Claudia, Freddie, Alfredo, Claudia, Tonia, Norma, Maria, Larry Jr., Christopher, Joshua, Daniel, Anthony, Michael, Timothy, Angel, Sergio, Zeth, Lacce, Hector, and Veronica and great grandchildren: Devon, Selena, Aaliyah, Jonathan, Issac and Andre. She was preceded in death by her mother Esperanza, granddaughter Maria Esperanza Quinones, and grandson Jesse Steven Vasquez.
