A private burial of ashes of Charles "Chuck" Jones Jr. will take place at a later date.Chuck Jones Jr., age 61, of Gillette, Wyoming died on Sunday, January 6, 2008 at Campbell County Memorial Hospital of natural causes.Chuck was born on October 10, 1946 in Vicksburg, Mississippi the son of Charles Bowen Jones Sr. and Winnifred L. (Machdanz) Jones. He spent the majority of his life in California until he moved to Gillette, Wyoming in 1988. Chuck was best known for his ability to build and repair anything and his sense of humor.Chuck is survived by his faithful companion, Velma Schafman of Gillette, Wyoming; two children: Veonne Falgout of Cleveland, England and Bowen Jones of California; mother, Winnifred Jones of California; two sisters: Denise McNeese and Kim Flowers both of California; aunt and uncle: (Ret.) Col. Billy Jo and Winnifred Jones of Jackson, Mississippi; numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.
