Funeral services for Beau William Hess will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 4, 2008 at Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Home with Kenna Rose officiating. Visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 on Thursday, January 3, 2008 at Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Home.Beau Hess, age 18, of Gillette, Wyoming was killed in an accident on Saturday, December 29, 2007 while working as a methane rig hand for Trecoby Services of Gillette, Wyoming. Beau Hess was born on October 4, 1989 in Reno, Nevada the son of Vernon Hess and Katherine Scott Moore. He was raised and educated in Gillette, Wyoming. He was a loving and sensitive young man, Beau was an excellent student while attending Twin Spruce Junior High and Campbell County High School. He went on to become a enthusiastic and loyal worker as he entered the job world. He enjoyed the great outdoors, particularly fishing, camping, riding dirt bikes, and hunting with bow and arrow. A recent trip to California awakened his love for the ocean and is fondness for boogie boarding. Caring and thoughtful, Beau constantly displayed affection for his family, from spending time playing Halo with his younger brother, Trent; to serving as a protective older brother to his sister, Manda; to organizing a lobster lunch for his grandmother on her 80th birthday. His closest circle included Shelly, the girlfriend he loved, and Chandler, a friend he deeply respected. Beau was just beginning to map out his future, planning trips that included Canada and Alaska. Beau is survived by many family members, including his mother, Katie Moore and stepfather Scott Moore; sister, Manda Hess and brother, Trent Moore all of Yuma, Colorado; father, Vernon Hess of Reno, Nevada; grandmother, Ann Herbert Scott of Santa Rosa, California; grandparents, Hermina and Harland Hess of Gillette, Wyoming; great grandfather, John Fink, Jr. of Lovell, Wyoming; uncle and aunt, Lloyd and Tammy Hess and their children all of Gillette, Wyoming; aunt and uncle, Alana and Dennis Barrier of Gillette, Wyoming; uncle, Peter Scott of Santa Monica, California; aunt, Melanie Scott and her son both of Reno, Nevada; aunt, Jennifer Lawson and her children all of England; aunt, Stephanie Scott of New York City, New York; and numerous other family and friends.
