Funeral services for Marjorie Bock will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, December 21, 2007 at Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Home with Celebrant Kenna Rose officiating. Burial will follow in the Moorcroft Cemetery in Moorcroft, Wyoming. Visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 20, 2007 at Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Home.Mrs. Bock, age 78, of Gillette, Wyoming died on Monday, December 17, 2007 at Campbell County Memorial Hospital of natural causes.Marjorie Ellen Bock was born on December 12, 1929 in Denver, Colorado the daughter of George and Dorothy (Somers) Roberts. She was raised and educated in Moorcroft, Wyoming. After her schooling she married Earl Grant Bock on August 6, 1947 in Deadwood, S.D. The couple made their home in NE Wyoming, including the towns of Osage, Upton and finally Gillette. Marjorie's primary focus was her family; she excelled at being a wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Marjorie was a "people person" she made everyone who knew her the center of her life. She looked at total strangers with the same love and understanding that she had for her family and friends. Marjorie was such a strong lady, an example to her kids and grandkids. Overcoming the adversity in her life with a positive attitude is a testimony to who she was. Marjorie is survived by her children: Gary Bock of Wright, Wyoming, Patricia Farmer of Julesburg, Colorado and Judy Patz of Gillette, Wyoming; sisters: Darlene Forster and Delores Reeves both of Gillette, Wyoming and Barbara Garhart of Osage, Wyoming; 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.Memorials and condolences may be sent in Marjorie's name in care of Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Home, 210 W. 5th Street, Gillette, Wyoming 82716 or via the internet at www.stevensonwilson.com.
