Funeral services for Cheryl Wishard will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, December 6, 2007 at Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Home with Pastor Bill Morel of the Family Life Church officiating. Visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 5, 2007 at Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Home.Cheryl Wishard, age 63, of Gillette, Wyoming, formerly of Spearfish, South Dakota died on Saturday, December 1, 2007 at her home of natural causes.Cheryl was born on June 16, 1944 the daughter of Ron and Ruth (Smothers) Cooper in Watertown, South Dakota. She enjoyed country music and reading all sorts of mystery and love stories. Cheryl enjoyed spending time with her family.Cheryl is survived by her 3 daughters: Karen Melick of Rozet, Wyoming, Ruth Wishard of Gillette, Wyoming, and Kristi Moses of Memphis, Tennessee; son, Dale Wishard of Gillette, Wyoming; parents: Ron and Ruth Cooper of Spearfish, South Dakota; 2 brothers: Craig Cooper of Spearfish, South Dakota and Conrad Cooper of Douglas, Wyoming; grandmother, Nettie Smothers of Spearfish, South Dakota; 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandson.She was preceded in death by her grandfather and grandson.Memorials and condolences may be sent in Cheryl's name in care of Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Home, 210 W. 5th Street, Gillette, Wyoming 82716 or via the internet at www.stevensonwilson.com.
