Funeral services for Ruth Eileen Talley will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 21, 2007 at Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Home with Pastor John T. Rice officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Eileen Talley, age 70, of Rozet, Wyoming passed away at her home surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, November 17, 2007 after a brief battle with lung cancer. Eileen was born on September 7, 1937, the daughter of Albert and Ruth "Peggy" (Brosa) Dewolf in Sundance, Wyoming. She grew up in Moorcroft, Wyoming where she graduated from Moorcroft High School in 1955. After graduation, she married Jerry Gauthier and they lived in several different places in California. They had a daughter, Gail and a son, Mike. They later divorced. After moving back to Moorcroft, Eileen married John Talley on December 8, 1966. They made their home south of Rozet, Wyoming where she remained until her passing. To this union brought one daughter, Kay. Eileen celebrated every day by devoting her life to her husband, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Mom's "grocery store" helped plenty of times when other families ran low on supplies. She made everyone who stopped by, whether it was family, friends or someone who was broke down on the side of the road feel comfortable and well taken care of. She was a member of the Pythian Sisters for several years. Eileen will be sadly missed by her husband, Johnny of Rozet, Wyoming; daughters: Gail (Sam) Pilcher of Moorcroft, Wyoming and Kay Brewer and companion Jerry Dexter of Rozet, Wyoming; son, Mike (Deanna) Gauthier of Rozet, Wyoming; grandsons: Jason Pilcher, Casey Pilcher, J. R. Nuzum, Blair Gauthier and Curtis Gauthier; granddaughters: Jessi Kostecki, Kara Gauthier, Tonya Nuzum and Melissa Brewer; three great granddaughters: Sydney and Savannah Kostecki and Isabelle Gauthier.She was preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Ronnie Dewolf.In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Treasured Memories Hospice.
