Funeral services for Don Maynard will be held at Morris Funeral Home in Wayne, West Virginia. No Local services will be held in Gillette.Don Maynard, devoted husband and father, passed away Friday, November 9, 2007, after a battle with leukemia.Don was born Feb. 7, 1942, in Wayne, West Virginia, to Rena Maynard. He was the oldest of eight children. Don married Rose Price and had four girls. The family moved to Gillette, Wyoming and later divorced. On April 12, 1978, Don married Amanda Spaulding and had twin girls. Being an outdoor enthusiast he loved to go camping, fishing, and four-wheeling. He also had a knack for making something out of nothing. He loved to have his family and friends over for barbeques, but most of all; he loved spending time with his kids. Don always brought a smile to everyone?s faces. Don is survived by his loving wife Amanda, six daughters: Rene, Donna, Priscilla, Loretta, Mona, Rhonda; sixteen grandchildren; five great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.He is preceded in death by his mother and several brothers and sisters.
