Mass of Christian Burial for Richard L. Saucedo, known to many as RJ will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Saturday, October 20, 2007 at St. Matthew?s Catholic Church with Father Cliff Jacobson officiating. Visitation will be held from 2:00-6:00 p.m., Friday, October 19, 2007 at Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Home with a vigil/prayer service beginning at 6:00 p.m. A second service will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Monday, October 22, 2007 at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Scottsbluff, Nebraska, with Father Don Buhrman officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. Visitation will be held from 2:00-6:00 p.m., Sunday, October 21, 2007 at Jolliffe Funeral Home, Scottsbluff, Nebraska with a rosary at 6:00 p.m. Military Honors will be provided by the Wyoming National Guard.RJ Saucedo, age 37, of Gillette, Wyoming passed away on Saturday, October 13, 2007 surrounded by family and friends after a short battle with cancer.RJ Saucedo was born on September 29, 1970 in Scottsbluff, Nebraska the son of John Saucedo and Margie (Marquez) Ernest. He attended elementary school in Lyman Nebraska and graduated from Scottsbluff High School in 1989. RJ joined the Army National Guard in May, 1989, and attended basic training in Fort Jackson, South Carolina. After returning from basic training, he attended Western Nebraska Community College. RJ married Jennifer Skeen on September 23, 1995 in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. The couple moved to Gillette, Wyoming in 1993. While here RJ worked for Barth Schilling Chrysler, Cellular One and UPS where he was currently employed at the time of his death. RJ was an avid golfer, enjoyed watching and playing basketball and football and building model cars with his children. He attended all of their sporting events and was their biggest fan. RJ was a member of the St. Matthew?s Catholic Church in Gillette. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.RJ is survived by his wife, Jennifer; daughter Alexis and sons: Nicholas and Ryan all of Gillette, Wyoming; father, John Saucedo of Gillette, Wyoming; mother, Margie (Marquez) Ernest of Gering Nebraska; maternal grandmother, Louise Marquez of Scottsbluff, Nebraska; fraternal grandparents, Claudio and Enedina Saucedo of Scottsbluff, Nebraska; brothers: Adrian (Errin) Saucedo of Cheyenne, Wyoming and Jeffrey Ernest of Lincoln, Nebraska; sisters: Angela (Gale) McGrew of Scottsbluff, Nebraska, Amy (Jeff) White of Shawnee, Kansas, Cassandra Ernest of Scottsbluff, Nebraska and Jody Rath of Missouri, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Frank Marquez, Sr.; uncle, Frank Marquez, Jr. and numerous aunts and uncles.Memorials and condolences may be sent in RJ's name in care of Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Home, 210 W. 5th Street, Gillette, Wyoming 82716 or via the internet at www.stevensonwilson.com
