Edith Quitt

A private family service for Edith Quitt will be held at a later date in Powers Lake, North Dakota. Edith Quitt, age 87, of Gillette, Wyoming died on Saturday, August 18, 2007 at Pioneer Manor Nursing Home of natural causes.Edith was born on June 8, 1920 in Ironton, Minnesota the daughter of John and Hazel (Ramsdell) Brown. Whe married Edward Matt Quitt on July 25, 1939. They were blessed with three children. She was very well loved and will be missed dearly.Mrs. Quitt is survived by her sons: Terry Quitt and Larry (Linda) Quitt both of Gillette, Wyoming; 14 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren; 5 sisters; 2 brothers and numerous nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, daughter, granddaughter, great granddaughter, brothers and sisters.Memorials and condolences may be sent in Edith?s name in care of Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Home, 210 W. 5th Street, Gillette, Wyoming 82716 or via the internet at www.stevensonwilson.com.
