Funeral services for Rick Neether will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, August 2, 2007 at St. Matthew's Catholic Church with Father Philip Vaske officiating. Visitation will be held from 4:00-6:00 P.M. on Wednesday, August 1, 2007 at Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Home with a rosary at 6:00 p.m. followed by a vigil. Burial will follow in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery.Rick Neether, age 38, of Gillette, Wyoming died on Saturday, July 28, 2007 from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident in Rapid City, South Dakota.Rick was born on September 11, 1968 in Gillette, Wyoming the son of DuWayne and Kay (Hall) Neether. He was raised and educated in Gillette, graduating from Campbell County High School in 1987. Rick apprenticed for R & G Electric and obtained his electrical journeyman license. At the time of his passing, Rick was studying for his master license while employed at PSN. He had a deep passion for hunting, fishing, and was an outdoor extremist. Rick found enjoyment in ice fishing, backpacking, snowmobiling, riding his four-wheeler, and exploring the great outdoors. He took great pride in his rifle, pistol, and knife collection. His passion for life was shared with his family, friends, and best companion "Aspen". Rick was known to some as "The Preacher", "Pup", and "The Rock Star".
