Edward Kenneth DeMunbrun, 40, died Tuesday July 17, 2007 at Rapid City Regional Hospital from complications of Sarcoidosis and Toxoplasmosis.Mr. DeMunbrun was born February 19, 1967 in Amarillo, TX, the son of Thomas and Rebecca (Foil) DeMunbrun. He enjoyed woodworking, fly fishing, archery, classic cars and wildlife photography, but especially camping and hiking with his family. Ed was kindhearted and always quick to offer advice or assistance to anyone in need. He served on the Antelope Valley Homeowners Board and was a member of the Wyoming State Archery Association. He was a sponsored shooter for the Hoyt Bow Manufacturing Company for several years.He had a varied working background, beginning in 1985 at the North Carolina Agricultural Research Station. He married Lori Sifford on December 22, 1985, and in 1988 they moved to Wyoming where he worked at T-Chair Livestock Company in Wright then 84 Lumber in Gillette. In 1989 he returned to North Carolina to attend college while he worked at Rockwell Casket Company and Morgan Motors. He graduated from Davidson County Community College with an Associates Degree in Auto body Repair. After graduation he went to work for Barth-Schilling Chrysler for seven years, then Dixon Brothers and BTI. His last place of employment was the parts counter at Wyoming Machinery Company in Gillette.Ed is survived by his wife, Lori and their children Samantha, 17, Jacob 15, and Katherine, 14 and his faithful companion, a welsh corgi named Jasper; parents Rebecca and Bill Anderson of Rockwell, North Carolina and Tom and Sachiko DeMunbrun of Casper, Wyoming; brothers Bill DeMunbrun of Gillette, Wyoming, Bob DeMunbrun of Worland, Wyoming ; sisters Linda DeMunbrun, Christine Whitehead and Andrea Mcrorie, all of North Carolina; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother Arthur Hearne and his grandparents.Per his request, no formal funeral services will be held and his cremains will be spread in the mountains at a later date.
