Funeral services for Ronald ?Ron? Alexander will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, June 1, 2007 at Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Home with Pastor Doug Rumsey of the Antelope Valley Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 p.m., Thursday, May 31, 2007 at Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Home.Ron Wayne Alexander, age 72, of Gillette, Wyoming passed away on Monday, May 28, 2007 at his home.Mr. Alexander was born on December 12, 1934 the son of Connie S. and Lois (Cordell) Alexander in Pampa, Texas. He graduated from Archer City High School in Archer City, Texas. Ron retired from Phillip?s Petroleum after 23 years as a field superintendent in Gillette, Wyoming. He was a partner with his son, Clay at Lakeway Power Sports in Gillette. Ron enjoyed his children, grandchildren and especially enjoyed participating in motor cross racing with them and other children and young people in the community. Ron was a member of the Antelope Valley Baptist Church. Ron is survived by his wife, Shirley Ann of Gillette, Wyoming; three sons: Clay Alexander and Lee Alexander both of Gillette, Wyoming, and Greg Alexander of Wichita Falls, Texas; brother Deaun (Sue) Alexander of Wichita Falls, Texas; four grandchildren: Aaron, Misty and Kendra all of Gillette, Wyoming, and Dustin of Palm Coast, Florida; great grandchildren; Peyton, Hayden and Alexis.In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in Ron?s name to benefit the Hospice of Campbell County Memorial Hospital or the charity of your choice.
