Funeral services for Andrew Wheeler will be held 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 23, 2007 at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church with Pastor Sonja Brucklacher officiating. Committal will follow in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 3:00-7:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 22, 2007 at Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Home. Friends are invited to bring their branding irons to leave their brand on Andrew?s casket.Albert Andrew Wheeler, age 20, of Gillette, Wyoming passed away, on Saturday, May 19, 2007 in an ATV accident.Albert Wheeler, known to his family and friends as Andrew, or affectionately as Andrew Pie by his mother and Grandma June, was born on February 24, 1987 the son of Josh and Kim (Miller) Wheeler in Casper, Wyoming. He attended school in Casper until the 5th grade when he and his family moved to Gillette, Wyoming. Here he attended Paint Brush Elementary, Sage Valley Jr. High and graduated from Campbell County High School in 2005. Andrew was active in the High School Rodeo participating in bull riding events. During high school and after graduation he worked for Don?s Supermarket. Andrew moved to Durango, Colorado in 2005 while working for Big 85 and then returned to Gillette in October of 2006, where he continued to work for Big 85. His hobbies include: bull riding, 4-wheeling, riding his dirt bike, camping, rock climbing, partying with friends, and working on his 1972 Ford Galaxy 500 ?The Big Green Boat? his car that everyone had a hand in fixing and driving. Andrew is survived by his mother, Kim Phillips of Gillette, Wyoming; father, Josh Wheeler of Canyon, Texas; brother, Josh Wheeler of Canyon, Texas, and sister, Jaidin Phillips of Gillette, Wyoming; maternal grandparents: June Miller of Upton, Wyoming and Harvey Miller of Billings, Montana; paternal grandparents: Josh and Betty Wheeler of Pampa, Texas; paternal great-grandfather, Robert Rhoads of Skellytown, Texas; aunt, LaRenda Norman of Henderson, Nevada; uncles: Harvey Miller and his wife Rhonda of Bayfield, Colorado, and Roy Wheeler of Canyon, Texas; cousins: Austin, Isabelle, Kendra, Codee, Caitlyn, Shayla and Robin.He was preceded in death by his great-great grandparents.Memorials and condolences may be sent in Andrew?s name in care of Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Home, 210 W. 5th Street, Gillette, Wyoming 82716 or via the internet at www.stevensonwilson.com.
