Memorial services for Maria ?Delia? Tillman, age 54 of Gillette, Wyoming will be at 11:00 a.m., Monday, April 30th at St. Mathews Catholic Church with Father Phillip Vaske officiating. Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 29, 2007 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Home.She passed away on Wednesday, April 25, 2007 at Campbell County Memorial Hospital due to complications from a long battle with cancer.Delia was born on August 4, 1952 in Los Angeles, California to Isaac and Alicia (Rivas)Garnica. She attended grammar school in the L.A. area and graduated from Arroyo High School in El Monte, Calif. in 1970. She attended Pasadena City College and studied art. Dalia worked as a graphics designer until she was reunited with her high school sweetheart, Norm Tillman at their 10th year high school reunion in 1980. They were married on June 28, 1981 in Carlsbad, Ca. where she then worked as an administrative assistant at Canji Cancer Research Center. Delia moved with her family to Gunnison, Colorado in 1995 and worked as a medical assistant until moving to Gillette, Wyoming in 1997. Upon moving to Gillette she worked several temporary jobs till she landed a full time position at Downtown First Interstate Bank in the Real Estate Department. Delia had a great sense of humor and always made everyone around her laugh. She was a joy to be around. Delia loved to watch her son play baseball. As a family she enjoyed shooting archery and camping together. She won a Wyoming State 3-D Tournament and is a member of the Fellowship of the Robin Hood. Delia was a member of the Pronghorn Archery Club and secretary for 3 years.She is preceded in death by her mother Alicia, father Isaac and mother in law Patricia Ann Tillman.Delia is survived by her husband, Norm Tillman of Gillette, Wyoming; son, David Lee Tillman also of Gillette, Wyoming but currently stationed in Anchorage Alaska; sister, Sonia Garnica, and brother, Isaac Garnica both of Atascadero, Calif.In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Campbell County Memorial Hospital Oncology Center.
