Funeral services for life long Gillette, Wyoming resident, Olga Osborne will be 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, March 13, 2007 at the Gillette Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, with Kelly Van Engen officiating. Interment will follow in Gillette's Mt. Pisgah Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:30 A.M. - 10:30 A.M. before the service at the church. Mrs. Osborne, age 84, died peacefully with her family around her at her home on Saturday, March 10, 2007 of natural causes. Olga E. Osborne was born August 8, 1922 to Chris and Flora (Price) Olsen on their homestead Southeast of Gillette. She attended Campbell County Rural schools. The family moved to their lower ranch on Timber Creek, where Olga worked on the family ranch until 1942. She then moved to Igloo, S.D. and later to Casper, Wyoming, to take sheet metal training. She returned home for a short time before moving to California to work, painting ships. She returned to Gillette in 1944. Olga married Ronald J. Osborne on March 13, 1946. They resided in and around the Gillette area until they bought a small farm east of Wyodak. At the death of her husband in 1968, she moved into Gillette, later to Milton Freewater, Oregon, then to Sheridan and Riverton, Wyoming, before coming back to Gillette in 1985. Olga enjoyed gardening, her dogs, cats and her parrots, reading, spending time with her family and many friends. Her greatest joy was when she attending conventions, with her family and attending meetings at the local Kingdom Hall and her service to Jehovah. She is survived by her two daughters: Bertha Baumann and Bonnie Sharp of Gillette; Wyoming, 1 sister, Elsie Bates and her husband Don; 2 granddaughters: Gina and Veronica; 2 grandsons: Steve and Ronald; and 4 great granddaughters: Korin, Jayce, Shawna and Kaylyn; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, 2 sisters, 2 brothers and 2 nephews.Due to health reasons the family asks that no flowers be sent. Memorials are suggested to the Watchtower Bible and Tracts Society Inc.
