Funeral services for Harold ?Roger? Rank will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 27, 2007 at the Mt. Pisgah Cemetery Shelter with Pastor Bill Morel of the Family Life Church officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the shelter. Burial will follow in the Mt. Pisgah Cemetery, with military honors.Roger Rank, age 68, of Gillette, Wyoming died on February 22, 2007 at the Fort Meade VA Medical Center in Sturgis, South Dakota due to complications of cancer. Roger was born October 26, 1938 in Kamiah, Idaho to Harold Elmer Rank and Ruby (Harlow) Rank. Roger enjoyed fishing, hunting, and anything related to the outdoors and the mountains. When he was young he was quite an accomplished dancer and enjoyed it thoroughly. He served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He was very proud of his service in the military. Roger married Glenda Matlack in the late 1950?s and they had two daughters; Barbara June Rank and Wanda Kay Rank. Roger and Glenda later divorced. In the 1960?s Roger married Beverly Dent and together they had a son; Harold Steven Rank. Roger and Beverly also later divorced. Roger worked as a journeyman plumber for Powder River Heating and Air Conditioning in Gillette, until his death.Roger is survived by his father, Harold Elmer Rank of Gillette, Wyoming, two children; Steve (Lorrie) Rank of Gillette, Wyoming, Wanda (Troy) Koffler of Sturgis, South Dakota; his brother Barney Ross of Buffalo, Wyoming, sister Ada Joy (Jack) Clevenger of Gillette, Wyoming; six grandchildren, Cindy Dorson, Maria Paschal, Matthew Langley, Megan Langley, Phillip Dorson, and Dakota Studie of Gillette, Wyoming, three great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, mother, one brother, and one daughter.Memorials may be made in Roger?s name to the Fort Meade VA Medical Center.
