Funeral services for Arlis Streuber will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 22, 2007 at the Trinity Lutheran Church with Pastor Scott Firminhac officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 21, 2007 at Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Home in Gillette.Mrs. Streuber, age 79, of Gillette, Wyoming died on Saturday, February 17, 2007 at the Campbell County Memorial Hospital in Gillette of natural causes.Arlis Elaine Streuber was born on July 25, 1927 in Pleasanthill Township, the present day Ridgeway , Minnesota the daughter of Herman and Clara (Hackbarth) Groth. She attended and graduated high school from Winona, Minnesota. Upon graduation, Arlis attended and graduated from beauty school in Winona. She married Donald Streuber on September 30, 1950 at Saint Martin?s Lutheran Church in Winona. Due to Don?s job the couple moved to many different areas finally coming to Gillette, Wyoming in August of 1973. She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Gillette. Arlis?s primary focus was to take care of her family and working in her home. Her hobbies included reading romance novels and she looked forward to spring so she could work in her flower garden where she spent as much of her time as she could.Arlis is survived by her husband, Don of 56 years; her children: Cynthia Streuber of Rapid City, South Dakota, Mary Streuber of Gillette, Wyoming, Gregory (Heather) Streuber of Roy, Utah, Robert (Julie) Streuber of Rydal, Pennsylvania and Carol Streuber of Rapid City, South Dakota; 2 sisters: Donnis Noer of Winona and Arlene Hoff both of Winona, Minnesota; 1 brother, Glen Groth of Houston, Minnesota; 5 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister.Memorials and condolences may be sent in Arlis?s name in care of Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Home, 210 W. 5th St., Gillette, Wyoming 82716 or via the internet at www.stevensonwilson.com.
