Funeral services for Roberta Mae Prazma will be 10:00 A.M., January 31, 2007 at the Presbyterian Church in Moorcroft, Wyoming with Pastor Donovan Voigt officiating. Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 P.M., Tuesday, January 30, 2007 at the First Presbyterian Church in Moorcroft. Roberta Prazma, age 66, of Moorcroft, Wyoming died at Deaconess Hospital in Billings, Montana on Sunday, January 28, 2007 of natural causes.Roberta was born on April 6, 1940 the daughter of Alvin and Lena (Mellish) Stovall in Billings, Montana. She was raised and educated in Torrington, Wyoming. Roberta married Jerry Prazma on December 3, 1960 in Rapid City, South Dakota. Jerry was with the Wyoming Highway Patrol in Gillette, Torrington and Cheyenne, and had made their home in Moorcroft for the past 36 years. The couple were life partners and did everything together. Roberta loved to laugh and was an incredibly kind and giving person. She never worked out of the home and taking care of her husband and 3 children were always her top priority. Roberta?s children were all involved in sports growing up, and she traveled many miles never missing a sporting event. When her grandchildren came along, they were her complete focus. Despite the distance, she remained close to them by talking on the phone with them daily. Roberta enjoyed going to the Big Horn Mountains and spending time with their special friends at Bear Lodge. She loved everything about the outdoors, including camping, fishing, and hunting. Roberta enjoyed yard work and mowing the lawn, painting her house inside and out. She never turned down an invitation to lunch with family and friends. She gave to others constantly, never asking for anything in return. Although she was in constant pain the last 6 months, she never complained. Roberta is survived by her husband Jerry of Moorcroft, Wyoming; son, Gerald (Paige) Prazma of Harpers Ferry, West Virginia; daughters: Cheryl (John) Mertz, and Jamie Prazma all of Peoria, Arizona; brothers: Dick Stovall and Jim Stovall of Torrington, Wyoming; sisters: Joanne Mark, Gloria Stull and Susan Filbert all of Torrington, Wyoming; 3 grandchildren: Brandon, Jared Prazma both of Harpers Ferry, West Virginia and Madeline Mertz of Peoria, Arizona; numerous nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Patricia, 3 brothers: Jack, Don and Bruce.Memorials are suggested to benefit the First Presbyterian Church in Moorcroft and condolences may be sent in Roberta?s name in care of Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Home, 210 W. 5th St., Gillette, WY 82716 or via the internet at www.stevensonwilson.com.
