Memorial service for Norma Jean Record, age 44, of Rozet will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 31, 2007 at the New Life Wesleyan Church with Pastor Wes Smith officiating.Norma died Friday, January 26, 2007 from injuries sustained in an auto accident.Norma was born September 4, 1962 to Tony and Annie Ortega in Laramie, WY. She attended school in Laramie, where she met Paul Record. On November 28, 1981 Norma and Paul were married and moved to Gillette. The couple lived in Rozet until the time of her death.Norma enjoyed camping, fishing, and boating. Music was one of her highlights. She was forever singing, playing, or listening to all types of music. She had a huge love for the Chicago Bear football team. Even when they were down she stuck with her team. Most of all she loved the time she spent with her husband, children, family and friends.Norma is survived by her husband, Paul of Rozet, Wyoming; her son, Rory of Gillette, Wyoming; a daughter, Rachel, and a son, Rusty of Rozet, Wyoming; her parents: Tony and Annie Ortega of Wheatland, Wyoming; sisters: Ruth, Renae, and Robin; and her brother, Ernie, and numerous nieces and nephews all of Laramie.Norma was preceded in death by maternal and paternal grandparents.Memorials and condolences may be sent in Norma?s name in care of Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Home, 210 W. 5th St., Gillette, WY 82716 or via the internet at www.stevensonwilson.com.
