Betty Sayles

Betty R. Sayles, age 75, of Gillette, Wyoming joined our heavenly father peacefully at Pioneer Manor Nursing Home on Friday, January 26, 2007 after a long battle with huntingtons decease. Betty was born on January 19, 1932 the daughter of Walt and Rosalie (Barkley) Riggle in Gillette, Wyoming. She attended school in Gillette and graduated from Campbell County High School in 1950. After graduating she was a kindergarten teacher and later became a librarian. She married Art Smelser in 1955 and together they had a son Tom. Betty married Joe Sayles of March 23, 1979 at the Bethlehem Church south of Gillette. Mrs. Sayles is survived by her husband, Joe Sayles of Gillette, Wyoming; ex-husband, Art; son, Tom; brother, Gene; sister-in-law, Joyce of California and many nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her daughter, Rosalie and parents and brother, Richard.Memorials and condolences may be sent in Betty?s name in care of Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Home, 210 W. 5th St., Gillette, Wyoming 82716 or via the internet at www.stevensonwilson.com.
