Funeral services for Mark Austin, age 36, of Billings, Montana will be held 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 30, 2007 at the Family Life Church in Gillette with Pastor Marty Crump officiating. Visitation will be held from 3-7p.m., on Monday, January 29, 2007 at the Stevenson ? Wilson Funeral Home in GilletteMark died Wednesday, January 24, 2007 at Campbell County Memorial Hospital from complications with Muscular Dystrophy.Mark E. Austin was born on October 6, 1970 in Butte, Montana, where he lived until moving with his family as a young boy to Gillette, Wyoming. Here he attended Hillcrest Elementary, Twin Spruce Junior High and graduated from Campbell County High School in 1989. Upon graduation Mark attended Montana State University in Billings, Montana. He graduated with a bachelor?s degree in counseling. Mark worked in Billings as an advocate for children with disabilities and also as an elementary school teacher. Because of his love for children, Mark was phenomenal at his work. He enjoyed hunting, camping and fishing. His favorite place was Trigger Lake in the Big Horn Mountains. Mark had a love for music especially Neil Young. He was a biker at heart and loved Harley Davidson?s. Mark was an avid movie goer rarely missing the newest releases at the local theaters. He loved going on road trips and traveling with his buddies especially when the destination would be a motorcycle rally. Mark was in the midst of planning a trip to New York to see the Broadway release of Grease.Mark is survived by his parents: Russ and Vonnie Muller of Gillette, Wyoming; one brother, Mike Austin of Fort Lauderdale, Florida; one sister, Monica (Brent) Wasson of Gillette, Wyoming; his maternal grandparents, Joe and Carol Beaudion of Kalispell, Montana; three step-brothers: Russ (Janaia) Muller of Gillette, Wyoming, Shawn (Andrea) Muller of Boone, Iowa and Vohn (Shar) Muller of Kemmerer, Wyoming; numerous aunts and uncles including, special aunt and uncle Jeanie and Ken Schopfer of Butte, Montana, special uncle, Chuck Beaudion of Gillette, Wyoming ; three nieces and five nephews.
