Funeral services for Francis ?Frank? Costello will be at 11:00 a.m., on Friday, January 26, 2007 at St. Matthew?s Catholic Church with Father Phillip Vaske officiating. Visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 25, 2007 at Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Home, followed by a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. Frank Costello, age 72, of Gillette, Wyoming died on Sunday, January 21, 2007 at Campbell County Memorial Hospital with his family by his side.Frank was born on August 21, 1934 the son of Jay C. and Esther (Fosser) Costello in Rugby, North Dakota where he was raised and educated. He graduated from Rugby High School in 1952. Frank married Evonne Britsch on June 26, 1958 in New Town, North Dakota. He enlisted in the United States Army serving until December 1955. In 1957 he worked for Boeing Aircraft in Seattle, Washington and discovered very fast that an enclosed building and factory life was not for him. Diversity in the oilfield was what he wanted and he began working for National Tank, later known as C-E Natco in Williston, North Dakota, New Town, North Dakota, Cody, Wyoming, Farmington, New Mexico and Gillette, Wyoming. After 33 years he retired in 1990. In 1991 with two partners they established the Oil Field Shop now known as Midway Supply retiring in 2003. He always considered work his hobby until his health began to decline. Frank was a member of the American Legion, Eagles, V.F.W., Elks, and the American Legion drill team, St. Matthew?s Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed being in the outdoors, gardening, hunting, fishing, down hill skiing and outdoor barbecuing for large groups. Frank loved life and being around his family and friends.He is survived by his wife of 48 years, daughters: Renae Coleman and Laurie Costello both of Gillette, Wyoming, Mickie (Shawn) Welsh of Buffalo, Wyoming; son, Michael (Yvonne) Costello of Tahoe City, California; sister, Marsha (Tom) Brossart of Grand Forks, North Dakota; 4 grandchildren: Heather (Ab) Whitt of Gillette, Wyoming, Matthew (Shannon) Coleman of Gillette, Wyoming, Daniel and Colin Welsh of Buffalo, Wyoming and 4 great grandchildren.
