Funeral services for Micheal Shawn Ruiz will be held at 10:00 am, Friday, December 29, 2006 at Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Home with Pastor Bill Morel of the Family Life Church officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Pisgah Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 pm on Thursday, December 28, 2006 at Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Home.Michael Ruiz, age 30, of Sheridan, Wyoming died on Tuesday, December 26, 2006 due to injuries from an automobile accident.Michael was born on April 7, 1976 in Gillette, Wyoming to Manuel and Vickie Ruiz. He grew up and attended school in Gillette. Michael had a love and passion for fishing and the Dallas Cowboys. He had many friends and was always on the go. Michael was always behind a good prank. Michael was always happy and was known as the one with a great sense of humor. He was always voisterous, opinionated and was the life of the party. Michael loved spending time with all kids and especially his children. Recently he wanted a new start in life and moved to Sheridan, Wyoming to live with his sister.Michael is survived by his children, Tallie and Keegan Mehlberg both of Gillette, Wyoming; father, Manuel (Mary) Ruiz of Sheridan, Wyoming; mother, Vicki Ruiz of Gillette, Wyoming; brother, Shane (Lynna) Shipley of Gillette, Wyoming; sister, Misti Ruiz of Sheridan, Wyoming; step sister, Sara Bieber of Sheridan, Wyoming; step brother, Jordan Bieber of Sheridan, Wyoming; numerous aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces and cousins.He was preceded in death by his grandparents and an uncle.Memorials and condolences may be sent in Michael?s name in care of Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Home, 210 W. 5th Street, Gillette, Wyoming 82716 or via the internet at www.stevensonwilson.com.
