Funeral services for Steven Sabala will be held at 10:00 am, Wednesday, January 3, 2007 at Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Home with Father Cliff Jacobson of St. Matthew?s Catholic Church officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 3:00-7:00 pm, Tuesday, January 2, 2007 at Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Home. Steven Richard Sabala, age 34, of Sheridan, Wyoming died in Casper, Wyoming on Tuesday, December 26, 2006 due to injuries from an automobile accident. Steven was born on May 15, 1972 the son of Richard and Beverly (Bennett) Sabala in Sheridan, Wyoming. He was raised in Gillette, Wyoming and worked very hard at receiving his GED. Steven loved motorcycles and riding his dirt bike. He enjoyed listening to music, playing the drums. Steven was a wonderful father to his son, Brandon who was born on October 12, 1996. He was a very loving and caring person, just being around him was such a joy. Steven had the most contagious laugh, he loved being with family and friends. Steven was willing to try anything and could fix or try to fix almost anything. He was a thinker and was very good at playing Jeopardy. He was working on getting his life back in order. He will be missed by all of his family and friends. Steven is survived by his son, Brandon Steven Sabala of Gillette, Wyoming; mother, Beverly Bennett (Chris) Geis of St. George, Utah; father, Richard Sabala of Palm Desert, California; girlfriend, Christine Peters of Gillette, Wyoming; sisters: Jeanie (Ron) Schlautmann and Julie (Pat) Schlautmann both of Gillette, Wyoming, Sheri (Doug) Paradise of Denver, Colorado and Shelly Bryant of St. George, Utah and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Bill and Ruth Bennett and his paternal grandparents. Memorials may be made to help benefit Brandon?s education.
