Ethel L. ReevesEthel L. Reeves, 67, of Gillette died Friday, December. 15, 2006, of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease.Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will take place at a later date.She was born April 15, 1939, to Gladys and Walter Sandifer in Greenwood, Ark. On May 1, 1958, she married S. Jim Reeves. They moved to Gillette in 1961. They had two children, Kimberlee and Justin.She drove a yard van at Powder River Transportation before retiring in 2001. She enjoyed reading books, going to Deadwood, S.D., and the retired life.Mrs. Reeves is survived by her husband of Gillette; her daughter, Kimberlee (Reeves) Vankirk; one brother, Tommy Sandifer; one sister, Nona Palmer of Arkansas; and many nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her son in 2002; seven siblings; and her parents.Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
