Eleanor Lattimer

Graveside funeral service for Eleanor Lattimer will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 10, 2006 at Mt. Pisgah Cemetery with Pastor Sonja Brucklacher of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church officiating. Eleanor, age 84, of Gillette, Wyoming died Wednesday, October 4, 2006 at Campbell County Memorial Hospital of natural causes.Eleanor Ruth Asbury was born October 2, 1922 in Hoisington, Kansas the daughter of Edward and Theodoria (Kirkpatric) Asbury. As a young child Eleanor attended school in Hoisington before the family moved to Battle Mountain, Nevada where she finished school. On August 20, 1944 Eleanor was united in marriage to Larry Latimer in Elko, Nevada. They lived in several western states following the trucking business. Their daughter, Laura Lee, was born in Baker, Oregon on July 8, 1947. However, the family has resided in Gillette, Wyoming since 1960. Eleanor will be missed by her daughter, Laura Lee Lattimer, of Miamiville, Ohio, 1 brother, Norman (Teresa) Asbury, of Casper, Wyoming, 2 granddaughters; Kristin Hanson of Gillette, Wyoming and Jennifer Lyke of Miamiville, Ohio, 4 great grandchildren; Ally and Paul Vincent of Gillette, Wyoming and Jason and Tanner Lyke of Miamiville, Ohio.She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and brothers, Truman, Everett, Kenneth and Stanley Asbury.Memorials and condolences may be sent in Eleanor?s name in care of Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Home 210 West 5th Street, Gillette, Wyoming 82716 or via the internet at www.stevensonwilson.com
