Funeral services for Jessie Worley will be at 10:00 am, Saturday, September 9, 2006 at the Christian Church with Pastors Wayne Phillips and Mike Dennis officiating. Burial will follow at the Mt. Pisgah Cemetery in Gillette. Visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 pm Friday, September 8, 2006 at Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Home.Jessie Inez (Bowden) Worley, our beloved mother, grandmother and aunt joined our heavenly father peacefully at her home on Tuesday, September 5, 2006 after a long courageous battle with malignant brain cancer for 24 years.Jessie was born April 14, 1939 the daughter of Hugh Gibson and Margaret Mabel (Dillinger) Bowden in Gillette, Wyoming. She was home schooled through the 8th grade and graduating from Campbell County High School in 1957. Jessie attended business College in Denver, Colorado after high school. She married Gerald (Jerry) Francis Dickinson Sr. in Gillette, Wyoming on June 29, 1958. Together they had three children Gerald (Jerry) Francis Dickinson Jr., Deborah (Debbie) Lynn (Dickinson) Riggle and Michael Todd Dickinson. Jessie married John Worley in 1983. She filled her life with a variety of activities which included her family, church, 4-H youth leader for 20 plus years, traveling to India, Ireland and Alaska, hunting: elk, deer and antelope, fishing, camping, square dancing, playing the accordion, raising and caring for her animals and sharing these animals with elementary classes, showing her registered Nubian, Saanan goats at the national level. Jessie also owned and operated her own business for 40 plus years in Gillette. She is survived by her three children: Jerry (Linda) Dickinson Jr., Debbie (Dave) Riggle and Michael (Tami) Dickinson all of Gillette, Wyoming; two sisters: Ruth Green of Cheyenne, Wyoming and Jeannie Hudson of Spearfish, South Dakota; brother, Jim Bowden of Rozet, Wyoming; 7 granddaughters: Cinda, Angie & Myranda Riggle, Jessica, Sara, Anne Marie & Ashley Dickinson; 4 grandsons: James Sandefur, Zachary, Josh and Jacob Dickinson; numerous nieces and nephews, sister in law, Alberta Bowden; brother in laws, Lloyd Green and Adam Hudson.She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry, parents, Margaret and Hugh Bowden grandmother, Cenia, grandson Joe and many other close family members.Todd Dickinson, Debbie Riggle and their families would like to express deep gratitude to Jessie?s loving caregivers from Black hills Rehabilitation, to all at Tammie?s Home Care, Campbell County Memorial Hospital Hospice, Senior Citizen Center, Meals on Wheels and all of her close friends.
