Mass of Christian burial for Robert Lynch of Moorcroft, Wyoming will be at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, August 16, 2006 at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Moorcroft, Wyoming with Father Philip Vaske celebrating. Rite of committal will take place in Moorcroft Cemetery in Moorcroft. Visitation will be from 3:00-6:30 pm on Tuesday, August 15, 2006 at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Moorcroft with a Rosary recital following at 6:30 pm.Robert Joseph Lynch, age 64, passed away on Friday, August 11, 2006 in Moorcroft, Wyoming of heart complications.Robert was born on March 31, 1942 in Wakonda, South Dakota to Orley D. and Helen (Koneche) Lynch. He attended elementary school in Elk Point, South Dakota where he grew up with 3 brothers and 4 sisters. After graduation from Heleen High School he attended 1 years of college before moving to Wyoming to work for Lindequel on highway construction. He married Margaret Hoshaw on May 6, 1967. The couple moved to various places while Robert worked fro McCulloch Gas. On May 4, 1969 the couple welcomed their first child a son, Dennis in to the world. Robert continued to work for McCulloch Gas until they welcomed their second child a daughter, Bobbi-Jo into the world on January 26, 1975. In 1976 Robert and Margaret took over the family business The Hub Caf and ran the business for 15 years. Robert enjoyed working the morning shift playing cards in the afternoon with his friends at The Old Card Hall, he drove Thu Hub Caf float in the annual Jubilee Parade for many years he also brought happiness to many children by playing Santa Claus for many different parties and charitable events. Robert also enjoyed working outside keeping up the yard and gardening for many people. He loved to work with wood and was always building something. He enjoyed spending time and doing many different things with all the grandchildren.Robert is survived by his ex-wife; Margaret Lynch of Moorcroft, Wyoming, son; Dennis (Sheila) Lynch of Sheridan, Wyoming, daughter; Bobbi-Jo (Charlie) Bass of Moorcroft, Wyoming, 3 sisters: Kathy Conway of Nebraska, Mary Clark of Minnesota and Fabiola Spenner of Iowa, 3 brothers: Jack Lynch of Washington, Bill Lynch of Arizona and Tom Lynch of California, 5 grandchildren: Kimberly and Patrick Lynch of Sheridan, Wyoming, Austin and Ryan Brickley of Moorcroft, Wyoming and Louden Brickley of Upton, Wyoming.He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 sister, 2 nephews and numerous cousins, aunts and uncles.Memorials and condolences may be sent in Robert?s name to Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Home 210 W. 5th Street, Gillette, Wyoming 82716 or via the internet at www.stevensonwilson.com.
