Dianne Byrne, age 63, of Gillette, died on Sunday, August 6, 2006 at the Campbell County Memorial Hospital due to cancer.Private family services for Dianne Byrne were held. Dianne Jean was born March 31, 1943 in Belcourt, North Dakota the daughter of Louis and Helen (Brunelle) LaVallie. She was raised in Belcourt. Upon Dianne?s schooling she married Rene L. Demontigny Sr. The couple lived in different areas through out the country due to her husbands work. They later divorced. In 1976 Dianne came to Gillette working as a waitress at different restaurants. She enjoyed her work not only as a waitress but as a cook as well. In 1994 she met John Byrne and they married on February 6, 1998 in South Dakota. The couple continued to live in Gillette until her death. Dianne loved to dance and travel, especially quick trips to Deadwood. She also enjoyed reading and crosswords, but mostly just spending time with her family and friends.She is survived by her husband, John; daughter, Raeleen Anderson both of Gillette, Wyoming; son, Rene Demontigny Jr. of Missoula, Montana; daughters: Cloea Demontigny of Grand forks, North Dakota and Tina Joe Dohl of Nevada; several grandchildren; 5 sisters; 14 brothers and numerous nieces and nephews.Dianne was preceded in death by her parents; 1 brother and 1 daughter, Julianne Pierce.Memorials and condolences may be sent in Dianne?s name to Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Home 210 W. 5th Street, Gillette, Wyoming 82716 or via the internet at www.stevensonwilson.com.
