Donald Wright

Donald Wright, age 73, of Recluse, Wyoming died Monday, July 10, 2006 at the Wyoming Medical Center in Casper. At his request no services have been planned.Donald Lee Wright, Sr., who was known to his family and friends as ?Don?, was born October 27, 1932 in Atlanta, Georgia the son of Aurther and Clara (Honnie) Wright. He was raised and educated in Atlanta. Upon his schooling Don entered the Navy, spending most of his time at sea stationed out of Hawaii. In the mid 1960?s he married Viola Margaret Gibson in Marietta, Georgia. The couple made their home in Marietta. Don worked for the Marest High School as a custodian for many years and also did contracting work. In 1999 Don moved with his son to Recluse, Wyoming where he has resided since. Don enjoyed hunting, fishing, target shooting, riding horses, gambling, and just having fun with people, spending time with his family and friends. He liked going to the Senior Center to have meals and play pool. Don was a very proud veteran and was a member of the American Legion Post #42 of Gillette, Wyoming. Don is survived by his son, Lee Wright of Recluse, Wyoming and sister, Sheila Lee of Astele, Georgia and brother, Jerry Wright of Florida.
