Funeral Services for Ronald Walter Diede will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, June 9, 2006 at Stevenson Funeral Home with Kenna Rose officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Pisgah Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 8, 2006 from 3:00-7:00 p.m. also at Stevenson Funeral Home.Ronald Diede, age 52, of Gillette, Wyoming died Sunday, June 4, 2006 at Campbell County Memorial Hospital of a heart attack.Ronald Diede was born October 20, 1953 in Deadwood, South Dakota the son of Walter and Shirley (Neagle) Diede. He was raised and educated in Lead, South Dakota. Ron worked on off shore oil rigs in California and came back to the Gillette area in the early 1980?s. He has worked in the oil fields most of his adult life. Ron met Roberta Bialas about the same time he came back to Gillette and they were married on September 9, 1985. Ron was an avid golfer and fisherman and he enjoyed all sports.He is survived by 1 son, Rance Diede of Gillette, Wyoming, 2 daughters: Trina Diede and Ryan of California. Ron is also survived by his mother, Shirley Diede of Jamestown, North Dakota, 2 brothers: Curtis Diede of Jamestown, North Dakota and Sherrill Diede of Reno, Nevada, also 3 step-children and 5 step-grandchildren.Ron was preceded in death by his both sets of grandparents, his father, Walter Diede and brother, Terry Diede.Memorials and condolences may be sent in Ron?s name in care of Stevenson Funeral Home 210 W. 5th St. Gillette, Wyoming 82716 or via the internet at www.stevensonandsons.com
