Funeral services for Tanna Sue Reed will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 6, 2006 at Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Home in Gillette, Wyoming with Pastor Joe Jarvis of New Lif Assembly in Buffalo officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Pisgah Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3:00 ? 7:00 p.m. on Monday, June 5, 2006 at Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Home. Tanna Sue Reed, age 48, of Gillette, Wyoming died on Tuesday, May 30, 2006 at her home of natural causes.Tanna was born on June 18, 1957 in Cody, Wyoming the daughter of Jacob and Elva (Robbins) Kauffman. She attended school in Powell, Wyoming and graduated from Campbell County High School in 1975. Tanna married her soul mate and best friend Haskell ?Chuck? Reed on May 22, 1989 in Gillette, Wyoming. Tanna is well known in the community for her love of helping people. She volunteered at the soup kitchen since the second day it started; she also helped with the food drives, the Christmas basket program and Cub Scouts, until her health declined. Tanna was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and past secretary for the Presbyterian Women?s Group. She also taught Bible School. Tanna loved watching her sons and grandchildren in sports, going camping, fishing and cooking for large groups and trying new recipes for her family and friends. She enjoyed helping others until her health declined. Tanna was a firecracker and will be remembered for her outgoing personality. She will also be remembered as an avid Denver Bronco?s fan and baseball enthusiast who actively supported her sons from Little League through American Legion Play. Tanna also had an enormous love for cats of which she had very many in her life. Tanna is survived by her husband, Chuck, and 4 sons: Gary Kelley of Gillette, Wyoming, Joshua Plato of Buffalo, Wyoming, Levi Reed and Jedudiah Reed also of Gillette, Wyoming, parents; Jacob and Elva Kauffman of Gillette, Wyoming, 3 sisters: Leahmae Haynes of Manning, South Carolina, Althea Haynes of Gillette, Wyoming and Amber Markley of Powell, Wyoming, 1 brother; Jason Kauffman of Gillette, Wyoming, maternal grandmother; Elenora Robbins of Powell, Wyoming, 2 granddaughters: Abigail Kelley and Katelyn Kelley; 1 grandson, Chevy Kelley and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.She was preceded in death by son, Michael Bain Kelley and her maternal grandfather, Bain Robbins, paternal grandparents, Jacob and Margaret Kauffman.In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in Tanna Sue Reed?s name at Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Home 210 W. 5th Street, Gillette, Wyoming 82716 or via the internet at www.stevensonandsons.com.
