Funeral services for Zachary Lunen will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday, May 26, 2006 at Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Dan Holden of the First Assembly of God Church officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Pisgah Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3:00-7:00 P.M., Thursday, May 25, 2006 at the funeral home and pens will be available for friends and family to sign the casket. Zachary Lunen, age 26, of Gillette, Wyoming died on Monday, May 22, 2006 in Gillette of unknown causes at this time.Zachary Alan Lunen, known to his family and friends as Zack, was born on March 31, 1980 in Douglas, Wyoming the son of Nathaniel and Cleo (Zeller) Lunen. At the age of 2 Zack moved with his family to Gillette. Here he attended Hillcrest Elementary then Twin Spruce Junior High. In 1994 Zack moved to Wallace, Idaho where he finished his education. Upon his schooling Zack returned to Gillette and began working in area oil fields, mostly as a roustabout for different companies including Cole?s Construction over the past 5 years. Zack enjoyed his nieces and nephews, fishing, hunting and playing softball in the summer. Zack will be most remembered not for his harsh exterior but his kind heartedness and loyalty to his friends and family. When Zack entered a room, everyone knew it and he would be greeted smiles and laughter.Zack will be missed by father, Nat Lunen of Mullan, Idaho; his mother, Cleo Morris; brother, Nate Lunen; 3 sisters: Tanya Lunen, Michelle Eich and Stephanie Helfenstine all of Gillette, Wyoming; as well as several aunt?s, uncle?s, cousin?s, niece?s and nephew?s.Memorials and condolences may be sent in Zack?s name to Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Home 210 W. 5th Street, Gillette, Wyoming or via the internet at www.stevensonandsons.com.
