A private family graveside service for Al Geiser of Rozet will be at Black Hills National Cemetery. A memorial service for Al will be held later in June. Visitation will be held from 3:00-7:00 P.M. on Sunday, May 14, 2006 at Stevenson Funeral Home in Gillette, Wyoming. Stevenson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.Al Geiser, 59, of Rozet, Wyoming passed away May 10, 2006 at his home from a heart attack.Al was born December 5, 1946 in Havre, Montana the son of Charles and Marie (Schmid) Geiser. Al grew up in Big Sandy on his family?s farm. During his high school years Al moved to Washington to live with his uncle and aunt. He graduated high school and joined the United States Army in 1967. On June 21, 1972 Al married Donna McPherson in Lewiston, Idaho. Al and Donna moved back to Malta, Montana where he worked for Veseth Ranch. In the mid 70?s Al and Donna moved to Havre, Montana and Al went to work for Halliburton where he was employed for 27 years. In 1993 Al moved his family to Gillette, Wyoming. Al was a workaholic and enjoyed what he did for a living. Some of Al?s favorite times were camping and fishing with his family. He also enjoyed his time hunting with his friends. Al also very much enjoyed being ornery to those he liked. Al will be missed by his wife of 33 years, Donna, 2 daughters: Shawn (Roger) Clay of Gillette, Wyoming and Susie Geiser of Rapid City, South Dakota; 1 sister, Joyce Carpenter of Billings, Montana and 1 brother, Vernon Geiser of Bakersfield, California.Al was preceded in death by his parents.In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be made to benefit The Salvation Army or the Veterans Administration.Memorials and condolences may be sent in Al?s name in care of Stevenson Funeral Home 210 W. 5th St., Gillette, Wyoming 82716 or via the internet at www.stevensonandsons.com
