Funeral services for Jeremie Mehaffy will be held 10:00 a.m., Monday, May 15, 2006 at the Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Home Chapel, Gillette, Wyoming with Pastor Marty Crump officiating. Visitation will be held from 3:00-7:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 14, 2006 at funeral home.Mr. Mehaffy, age 31, of Gillette, Wyoming died in an auto accident on Wednesday, May 10, 2006.Jeremie Brian Mehaffy was born on November 25, 1974 in Marshalltown, Iowa the son of Russell and Cindy Mehaffy. Jeremie moved to Gillette with his mom in the mid 1980?s, where he has lived ever since. Jeremie attended Twin Spruce Junior High, Campbell County High School, and 1 semester at Moorcroft High School where he was a 1993 graduate. Upon his graduation Jeremie married Amanda Williams in Gillette, the couple had two children: Darian Jade Mehaffy and Dylan Brian Glenn Mehaffy. The couple later divorced. Jeremie worked as a sectionman for Burlington Northern Railroad before beginning to work in the oil field?s around Campbell County. On June 6, 2003 Jeremie married Katie Jo Hanson in Las Vegas, Nevada. Jeremie was working at Cyclone Drilling at the time of his death. He enjoyed basketball, playing as well as watching especially his favorite team the Lakers, camping and paintball. Jeremie loved to sing and would always be singing some song. He was an excellent father and he did anything and everything for his kids.Jeremie is survived by his wife, Katie Jo; daughter, Darian; son, Dylan; father, Russell Mehaffy and his wife Shelly of Weslaco, Texas; mother, Cindy Archuleta and her husband Candido of Raton, New Mexico; 5 sisters: Brandy Mutsaers of Holland, Samantha Mehaffy, Candida Cheadle, Cynthia Harrison, and Patty Romero;1 brother, Joseph Archuleta; and many loyal friends.Memorials and condolences may be sent in Jeremie?s name to Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Home, 210 W. 5th Street, Gillette, Wyoming 82716 or via the internet at www.stevensonandsons.com.
