Funeral services for Marlene A. Nealeigh of Buffalo, Wyoming will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, April 29, 2006 at Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Marvin Massey, minister of the Church of Christ Sundance, Wyoming.Visitation will be held from 3:00-7:00 P.M. Friday, April 28, 2006 at Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Home Chapel in Gillette, Wyoming. Burial will be in the Willow Grove Cemetery, Buffalo, Wyoming.Marlene Ann Nealeigh, age 71, of Buffalo, Wyoming passed away on Tuesday, April 25, 2006 at her home of cancer.Marlene Ann was born November 15, 1934 the daughter of Harry and Vadna (Cohrs) Buhler in Trenton, Nebraska. She was raised and educated in Trenton, Nebraska graduating in May of 1952. Upon her schooling Marlene married her high school sweetheart, Kenneth Nealeigh on June 7, 1953 in Trenton. The couple made their home in Denver, Colorado. Marlene?s primary focus was raising her kids and caring for her family. When the kids grew older Marlene would work occasionally as a bank teller. In 1977 Marlene moved with her family to Gillette, Wyoming. Here Ken served as the minister at the Church of Christ and Marlene was Ken?s partner in their ministry. Due to the nature of Ken?s work the couple lived in different areas of Colorado, Wyoming, Montana and South Dakota. The past 10 years Marlene has spent training others for ministry through their work with Bear Valley Bible Institute. In 2004 the couple made their home in Buffalo, Wyoming. Marlene enjoyed making greeting cards for her friends and family never forgetting birthdays, anniversaries, holidays and other special occasions. Marlene loved to camp and hike with her family. She was best known for her cooking and her incredible hospitality.Marlene is survived by her husband, Ken of Buffalo, Wyoming; son, Rod (Linda) Nealeigh of Curitiba, Brasil; daughter, Candi (Glenn) Staudinger of Gillette, Wyoming; mother, Vadna Buhler of Trenton, Nebraska; 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.She was preceded in death by her father Harry.Memorials may be sent in Marlene?s name to Susie Bowling Lawrence Hospice of Buffalo.
