Apland, 39 year old former Worland resident died on April 19, 2006 at the University Medical Center of Denver from injuries sustained in an auto accident. Terry was born on February 18, 1967 in Worland to Edward and Patricia (Doig) Apland. He grew up and received his education in Worland. During his junior year he moved to Gillette, where he graduated from Campbell County High School. During this time Terry worked for Albertson?s. He later worked for various construction companies and mining companies in the Gillette area. At the time of his death, Terry was working for Black Thunder mine as a heavy equipment operator, which he enjoyed very much. He was an avid recreationalist. Terry enjoyed four-wheel drive vehicles, motorcycles, snowmobiling, and most recently, riding horses in the mountains. He also enjoyed landscaping around his own home and for friends. He was very optimistic, often stating that he hoped to win the lottery. He so loved life that he lived it for the day. He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Varick Doig , Nels and Dolly Apland; sister: Connie Apland Belcoe. He is survived by his son, Ryan; parents, Ed and Pat Apland; his companion, Donna Blake of Gillette; grandmother, Blanche Doig; brothers: Scott (January) Apland, Rick (Cheryl) Apland, all of Worland; uncles: Marvin Doig of Pensacola, FL, John Doig of Helena, MT; Aunts: Margaret Ramage and Verrie Bloomquist of Lysite, WY; Maryann Donahoo of Gillette, WY; nieces, nephews: Varick, Nathan, Ashley, Andrea, Joel Apland, and special friend, Matt Roepke. Memorial Services will be held 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 29, 2006 at Bryant Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Roger Dobson officiating. Burial of cremains will be in Riverview Memorial Gardens Cemetery. A memorial service will also be held on Thursday, April 27, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church 2500 S. Oakcrest Dr in Gillette, Wyoming. A memorial fund has been set up for his son, Ryan?s education and may be sent to Bryant Funeral Home, PO Box 524, Worland, WY 82401. Bryant Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
