Funeral Services for Donna Mae Maxwell will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, April 3, 2006, at Stevenson Funeral Home. Father Cliff Jacobson of St. Matthew?s Catholic Church will officiate. A visitation will be held on Sunday, April 2, 2006 from 4-7 at Stevenson Funeral Home. Burial of Ashes will take place at a later date at Black Hills National Cemetery, Sturgis, SD. Donna went to be with the Lord on March 30, 2006 after a short battle with cancer. She passed with close family by her side. She was born on October 14, 1949 to Daniel and Margaret Senn in Dickenson, ND. Her family lived there for a few more years until they moved to Sidney, MT where Donna attended Catholic School through the 8th grade and then attended local public schools. Donna worked at several local stores and was liked by everyone she knew. She was outgoing and worked very hard. Donna met Monty Maxwell in Sidney and they were married on June 3, 1978. They adopted their daughter April in June of 1981 and moved to Gillette in 1984 where they spent the remainder of their years together. Donna worked at Lula Bells and then at Campbell County Memorial Hospital until 1997 when she started selling Avon. In 1999, she and Monty adopted another daughter and spent most of their time with them. Donna always kept a smile on her face, even when faced with difficult times. She opened he r home and her heart to everyone she met. She always put other?s needs before her own. Donna was known by all and never forgot a name. She lived for her daughters and her family. She loved children and they loved her right back. Donna loved playing bingo, card games, spending time with loved ones and selling Avon.Donna is survived by her two daughters, April ( Travis) Glick and Deserae Senn Maxwell, both of Gillette. Two sisters, Linda Byer of Sidney, MT and Paulette Waller of Big Piney, two brothers, Harvey Senn of Sidney and Dale Senn of Apple Valley, CA, her mother Margaret Senn of Sidney, MT, two grandchildren Marcus Glick and Dillon Glick of Gillette, 23 nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Monty Maxwell, her father Daniel Senn, a brother, Gary Senn, a sister, Charlene Senn, father and mother-in-law Art and Dorothy Maxwell.
