Jeffery Hall

A private family service for Jeff Hall is being held at Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Small Officiating. Jeff Hall, age 49, of Gillette, Wyoming passed away in the early morning hours of Saturday, March 25, 2006 at Campbell County Memorial Hospital as a result of complications of cancer. Jeffery Dale Hall was born on December 13, 1956 the son of Fred and Alice ( McCarter ) Hall in Pikeville, Kentucky, the oldest of 6 children. He was raised and educated in Deaborn Heights, Michigan. He began his career as a chef at the age of 14 and was a chef for his remaining years. He was chef for a second family restaurant, Aunt Alice?s, in Taylor, Michigan. Jeff was also a chef at Olomana Golf Links in Waimanalo, Hawaii, where he lived with his sons, Robert and James. Later, he moved to Maui to live with his daughter, Erin. In 2004 Jeff moved back to Michigan to be with his Mom and receive treatment at the University of Michigan Medical Center. In late September of 2005 he moved to Gillette to spend his last months with his daughter Kelly. He wanted very much to be there for his kids. Jeff loved the beach and gardening both flowers and vegetables which he used in his special dishes. He was a wonderful grandfather and all of his children and grandchildren loved him dearly.Jeff will be missed by his 4 children: Erin Moses of Gillette, Wyoming, Robert Moses of Kailua, Hawaii, James Moses of Kihei, Hawaii and Kelly Monarrez of Gillette, Wyoming; 3 grandchildren: Anna Moses, Alexander Monarrez and Kathryn Monarrez. Jeff will also be missed by his mother, Alice Hall of Westland, Michigan and 5 brothers and sisters: Janie Neill of Livonia, Michigan, Judy Shelata of Wyandotte, Michigan, Jill Edney of San Francisco, California, Fred Hall, Jr. of Wetland, Michigan and Jerry Hall of Taylor, Michigan.Jeff was preceded in death by his father.Memorials are suggested to benefit the American Cancer Society.Memorials and condolences may be sent in Jeff?s name in care of Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Home, 210 W. 5th St., Gillette, Wyoming 82716 or via the internet at www.stevensonandson.com.
