Jackie Hillenburg

Funeral services for Jackie Hillenburg will be held at Alpha Baptist Church on Highway 180 in Deming, New Mexico on Friday, March 10, 2006 at 2:00 P.M. Jacquiline Ruth Hillenburg, age 72, was born on March 25, 1933 in San Antonio, Texas and passed away on March 3, 2006 in Gillette Wyoming. The daughter of Clinton Guy and Mildred ?Butchie? (Chambers) Petty the family lived in South Texas around Corpus Christi and for some time in Brownsville. After a divorce Jackie and her mother returned to San Antonio where Jackie attended grade school and graduated from High School. Her mother then met a man from Deming, NM and they were married in 1951 and the family made their home in Deming. On July 25, 1952 Jackie married Edward Lutonsky in Deming, New Mexico, together they had 3 boys; Larry, Terry and Todd. Jackie and Edward divorced in 1970. Jackie provided for herself and boys working as a desk clerk at the Ramada Inn in Deming and later for Elmer Rice at the Lumber Bin. On December 18, 1982 she married Robert ?Casey? Hillenburg and together they made their home in Deming, New Mexico. Jackie worked for several years at Bell and Memorial Elementary Schools in Deming as a teachers aide where she was best known as ?Grandma Jackie?, retiring in 2000. She worked with children with developmental disabilities doing arts and crafts. Jackie was an avid artist and loved doing oil paintings and pen and ink drawings. She also very much enjoyed her church while she was able to attend, Alpha Baptist Church in Deming, New Mexico. Jackie will be missed by 2 sons and their families; Larry and Dianna Lutonsky of Deming, New Mexico and Todd and Cindy Lutonsky of Gillette, Wyoming, and 1 brother, Clinton Guy Petty II of San Antonio, Texas. She will also be missed by her 8 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
