Virginia began life as the Daughter of Mary and James Salvucci December 03, 1908 on a family farm in Memphis Tennessee. The farm was subsequently sold and the family moved to Denver, Colorado where Virginia attended parochial school and spent most of her life. While in Denver, Virginia worked in sales and marketing for the Telephone Company, The May Company and Denver Dry Goods, and Fox fashion Center until 1934 when she met Hubert Farmer. Love and marriage led to two children, a son Donald, a daughter, Bernice, and a change of career to something she was really good at, full time homemaker and mother.Virginia lived a full and vibrant life, surrounded by love and light she could be best described as a master caretaker. Although her number one priority was being a mom and worrying about her curious son Donald, she held a full time job most of her life, managed to care for her wheel-chair bound husband, crippled sister Lucille and still find time to enjoy a variety of fun things like bowling, fishing, Cub Scout den mother, church, sewing, hiking, playing cards and laughing a lot along the way. Preceded in death by her husband Hubert, daughter Bernice, parents James and Mary of Denver Colorado, sister Lucille of Gillette and brother Anthony of Greeley Colorado, Virginia may well be the last of this generation in the family. Of her immediate family she is survived by her son, Donald, his wife Patricia (Midge) Farmer of Gillette, Wyoming, niece Bernice King of Table Rock Ark., niece Mary Gray of Jacksonville, Florida, and various other family members nationwide. She will be missed by everyone who met her and were touched by her generosity and smile.
