Funeral Services for Rodney Dean Anderson, 47, of Gillette will be held on Thursday, January 19, 2006 at 11:00 AM at Stevenson -Wilson Funeral Home. Celebrant Kenna Rose will officiate. Burial will follow at Mt Pisgah Cemetery, Gillette, Wyoming. A visitation will be held on Wednesday evening from 3:00-7:00PM at Stevenson-Wilson Funeral Home. Rodney passed away Sunday, January 15, 2006 at his home in Gillette, Wyoming of an apparent cardiac event.Rodney was born November 25, 1958 in Yankton, South Dakota to Thomas L. and Katherine E. (Meers) Anderson. He moved to Gillette, Wyoming in 1980 and began working for Black Hills Power and Light. . In 1981 Rodney moved Brenda Reiser to Gillette, Wyoming where they began to build their family. Rodney and Brenda were married September 23, 1990 in Gillette, Wyoming, together they had four daughters. In 1981 he transferred to Wyodak Coal mine and later worked for Hladky Construction and Powder River Transportation. Rodney was an excellent mechanic. He worked on all types of heavy equipment. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, collecting hot wheels and watching WWF and WCW wrestling. He especially enjoyed spending time with his daughters and grandchildren, other family and friends. Rodney is survived by his wife; Brenda, his four daughters: Tracie L. Craggs, Kelly M. Anderson, Mariah J. Anderson, and Brittney A. Anderson all of Gillette, Wyoming his mother; Katherine E. Lancrain of Virginia Beach, Virginia, his three sisters Carol Kendall of Las Vegas, Nevada, Connie Thranum and Linda Anderson both of Yankton, South Dakota and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father Thomas L.
